一、纺织产品种类齐全，产业链条完善
　　纺织业是顺德传统产业之一，经过多年的发展，我区纺织业已形成种类齐全、产业链比较完整、具有相当规模和一定水平的工业体系，是我区八大支柱产业之一。据统计，2005年，我区规模以上纺织服装企业的工业总产值超过75亿元，销售收入超过67亿元，从业人员超过30000人，服装和面料是我区纺织业产业的主要组成部分。通过技术改造和技术进步发展出含高附加值的西装、时装、休闲装、羽绒服、童装、牛仔服、皮鞋、运动鞋等系列产品。

二、打造专业服务平台，发展特色专业市场
　　（1）为了市场经济发展，强化行业管理，推动产业的进一步发展，专业的服务平台：佛山市顺德纺织商会、佛山市顺德区均安纺织服装商会、均安镇纺织服装生产力促进中心、均安牛仔服装创新中心。两个商会自成立以来，围绕着“服务”的宗旨，充分发挥其职能，在顺德纺织业的发展中起到积极的作用。我区拨出经费支持均安镇纺织服装生产力促进中心，中心集会展会务、信息发布、产品开发、技术开发、技术转让、检测认证、培训交流等为一体，将为“均安牛仔”的发展带来更为雄厚稳固的推动力。下一步将要在这个平台引进科技人员和科学的管理，以进一步提高“均安牛仔”的技术创新能力。
　　（2）经过十年的发展，富安国际牛仔城形成了集牛仔面料、辅料、成衣、服装加工机械、行业培训与人才、行业集成信息的综合交易与展示平台，是全国规模最大、面料最全、最专业的牛仔专业市场，为商家提供了超过30亿元人民币专业交易额的巨大商机。

三、建设纺织服装园区，打造特色纺织制造基地
　　为了推动我区纺织服装产业的集聚发展，我区在位于杏坛镇内的顺德科技工业园C区，配套有热电联供、污水处理等环保系统工程，成为了主要以纺织、印染行业的生产基地，此外位于均安镇的已规划的顺德科技工业园D区设立服装基地，规划了5000多亩用地，建设纺织服装生产基地，重点引进织布、制衣、浆染、洗水等纺织服装生产及其配套企业。目前已有50多个具有一定规模的牛仔服装和冼水企业，推动产业聚集效应，全面提升工业园的综合实力和辐射作用。

四、实施品牌带动战略，提升行业影响力
　　（1）我区的纺织企业逐步从小型、分散型企业向大中型规模型企业转变。纺织产品由代加工为主逐渐向自创品牌方向转变，并先后发展出德润、金纺、金丰、金典等一批知名纺织企业和涌现了“佑威”、“浪登”、“佛罗伦”、“嘉意”、“西布朗”、“披头士”、“爱得乐”、“标奇”等一批知名品牌。在近年来，我区成功省名牌产品有：“浪登”和“德润”两大品牌。
　　（2）经过20余年的发展历程，均安已成为“中国牛仔服装名镇”和全国最大的牛仔服装OEM生产基地，产品畅销世界各地，并享有“牛仔之城”和“制衣之城”的美誉。均安镇拥有牛仔服装生产及加工配套企业1000多家，面料商行300多家，服装商标与品牌600多个，知名品牌也越来越多。均安自有品牌的年销售额达10多亿元，约占该行业年销售总额的50％，产业的品牌族群已初步形成。2004年均安镇被中国纺织工业协会授予“中国牛仔服装名镇”称号。

五、加强产业研发工作，推动信息化实施
　　顺德纺织服装企业根据其规模、管理水平和产品档次的不同，信息化技术 的应用水平也各不相同，但基本能适应企业的实际需求。企业对实施 信息化所带来的效果评价较高，60%以上的企业实施过信息化建设并 认可其效果。至于研发机构，我区也有一小部分企业已经运作了一段时间，而且有一定的成效，例如：“佑威”、“金纺”两家企业的部分研发产品得到了国家级和省级的认可。

1.A full array of products and complete industry chain
　　Textile is one of the traditional industries of Shunde. After years of development, Shunde Dist. has formed an industrial system of complete products, industry chain, certain scales and standards, and textile has become one of the eight most important industries of the district. According to statistics, the total industrial output of textile clothing enterprises of the district goes beyond RMB750 million, the sales income beyond RMB670 million, and more than 30000 people are engaged in the industry. Garments and linings form a major part of the district’s textile industry. By means of technical innovation and progress, the district has developed a series of products of high added values such as suits, fashions, casual wears, down garments, children’s wears, jeans garments, leather shoes and sports shoes.

2.A professional service platform to present professional and characteristic market
　　(1) To advanced market economy development, strengthen industry management and push forward the industry development, the district has set up a professional service platform consisting of Chamber of Commerce for Foshan Shunde Textiles, Chamber of Commerce for Foshan Shunde Jun’an Textiles Garments, Jun’an Textile Garment Production Force Promotion Center, and Jun’an Jeans Garments Innovation Center. Since their setup, the two Chambers of Commerce have played an active role in development of Shunde’s textile industry by focusing on services and brining into full play their intended roles. There is a special-purpose fund from the district for Jun’an Textile Garments Production Force Promotion Center. Integrating exhibition affairs management, information release, product development, technology development, technology transfer, test and certification, and training communication, the Center will inject more drive to development of “Jun’an Jeans”. Next, technical people and scientific management will be introduced into the platform, thus further improving the technical innovation capability of “Jun’an Jeans”.
　　(2) After ten years of development, Fu’an International Jeans Town has shaped itself into a comprehensive transaction and exhibition platform for jeans linings, accessories, finished garments, clothing processing machineries, industry training, and talent and industry integration information. As China’s biggest and most professional jeans market with a full array of linings, the platform has provided a colossal number of business opportunities for customers, with transaction volume of over RMB3 billion.

3. Building a textile garment park, and forging a characteristic textiles manufacturing base
　　To promote the district’s textile garments industry development, the district set up a production base for textile, printing and dyeing industries with environment protection projects such as joint thermal power supply and wastewater treatment in Area C, Shunde Technical Industrial Park, Xingtan Town. In addition, a garment base with a planned area of over 5000 mu is set up in Area C, Shunde Technical Industrial Park of Jun’an Town, and textile garment production and supporting enterprises for cloth weaving, garments making, dyeing and washing are introduced.

4.Implementing brand ripple effect strategy, and improving the industry influence
　　(1) The district’s textile enterprises are transforming from small-sized and scattered ones to large and medium-sized ones. Enterprises are developing from agencies for processing to proprietary brands. As a result, a number of renowned textile enterprises emerge, for example, Derun, Goldtex, Jinfeng and Jindian. Also, a batch of renowned brands are born, for example, U-RIGHT, Langdeng, Fornari, Jiayi, SEBORN, Beatles, Aidele, and Biaoqi. In recent years, two brands are successful in the province, namely, Langdeng and Derun.
　　(2) After over 20 years of development, Jun’an has become China Jeans Garments Town and the biggest jeans garments OEM base. With its products sold all over the world, the Town has enjoyed the reputation of “Town of Jeans” and “Town of Garments”. Jun’an Town owns over 1000 jeans garments manufacturing, processing and supporting enterprises, over 300 lining shops, more than 600 garment trademarks and brands, and more and more famous brands. The annual sales volume of Jun’an brands is over RMB1 billion, taking account of 50% of the total volume for the industry, and an industry belt consisting of brands family has come into being. In 2004, Jun’an Town was awarded the title “China’s Famous Jeans Garments Town” by China Textile Industry Association.

5.Strengthening industry R&D, advancing information revolution implementation
　　The information technology application standards of Shunde’s textile garment enterprises differ with their scales, management levels and product hierarchies, however, they can basically meet the actual needs of themselves. The enterprises highly regard the effect brought by information technologies, and over 60% of them implemented information technology construction and acknowledged the effect. As far as R&D institutes are concerned, a minority of the district’s enterprises have implemented with certain achievement, for example, R&D products of U-RIGHT and Goldtex have got national and provincial acknowledgement.
